A graduate of Gonzaga University of Law, Mr. Pfalzer practiced law after being admitted to the California Bar in 1978. Prior to law school, he attended California State University, Hayward (B.A., 1973). Mr. Pfalzer was a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, The Defense Research Institute, Inc., California Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys. He specialized in medical malpractice and lectured on the subject at various programs and hospitals in the Bay Area. He was selected a 2005 Northern California Super Lawyer, Medical Malpractice, Defense. Mr. Pfalzer was a Charter Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, and retired in 2008.
